with highlights. Balmain joins this trend with hairXpression: a complete high-
end retail hair product range for an extremely feminine look, luxuriantly longer
wavy hair or adding color & highlights –anything is possible. The hairXpression
collection is composed of Memory®Hair and is available in six trendy color
combinations, giving the consumer endless possibilities. From a funky hair
boost with trendy colors, to a full-length extension in natural colors, all matching
perfectly with ones own hair. The clever clip-in system is easy to use for young
& old. Women can update their looks several times per day within seconds.

Memory®Hair
Balmain’s Research & Development department is also responsible for
the unique new innovation called “Memory®Hair”. The name is indicative
of exactly what it’s all about. “Memory®Hair”, is able to “memorize it’s
shape” (for example shaping with curling irons) and keeps the hair that
way – even after a rain shower or a shampooing. The texture can be
reshaped with the usage of heating tools. Maintaining Memory®Hair
entails little time: just rinse with lukewarm water and apply conditioning
spray for Memory®Hair. That’s all!

Soft Blend Edge
Another innovation from the Balmain R&D department is the patented
Soft Blend Edge technique. The two strips of hair are placed next to
each other, not on top of each other. This makes the system of
hairXpression about 70% thinner than other systems. Besides, the
curves hold 20% more hair per square centimeter and give a perfect
integration.

HairXpression is for women of all ages who like to be in charge of the way the look, without spending too much money. HairXpression is reasonable priced and enables consumers to create cover girl look within seconds in the comfort of their own environment. The complete range of hairXpression consists of 4 models. Color includes 6cm wide fringes in two lengths (15 and 30cm); Highlights offers a set of 3 colorful highlights, each 2cm wide and 30cm long; the Length (packed by three) each have a width of 9cm and are available in lengths of 25 and 40cm; and finally there is the so called Full Length, a 27cm wide hair piece, that results in long voluminous hair in a twinkle. This extension is also available in lengths of 25 and 40cm. Andy Uffels
Andy Uffels & the Balmain creative team have produced the photo shoot of ‘hairXpression’. As an
ambassador of Balmain, Andy Uffels is well known backstage session stylist for international catwalk
shows. He and his team have just completed the hair dues (with Balmain hair) during the opening
show of the Paris fashion week 2007 in collaboration with the house of Balmain & H.R.H. the Princess
of Thailand.
