Balmain has great expectations of the new DoubleHair Strip, which is a hand knotted strip existing of 100% human hair. The DoubleHair Strip is available in nine different color combi-nations, namely four basic tints that can be dyed in any wanted color, and five duo-tones in the most popular color combinations. Thanks to the double layer of hair, the simple technique and the combination with Balmain’s fill-in extensions, a completely new hairstyle can be realized in less than 20 minutes. The DoubleHair Strip is 27 centi-metres wide and only needs 11 bonds to be fixed. The strip is available in lengths of 25 and 40 cm.

Natural look
Applying the DoubleHair Strip, Balmain wants to give the client a natural look. Just like ones own hair, the strip with 100% human hair can be shampooed and styled in every wanted way. The hair is soft to the touch and matches the highest standards of quality. Besides, Balmain has developed a special system - the Soft Blend Edge technique – that makes it possible to fix the strips invisibly. As this ‘natural blending system’ runs out over the fixing strip, the Balmain strip is about 70% thinner than any other brand. Thanks to this, the strip integrates perfectly with the clients’ own hair, while the junction to the skin of the head is absolutely perfect. Another advantage of these wavy extremities is, that there is more space to fix the hair; this results in 20% more hair per square centimetre than extensions with straight ends.

Permanent or temporary
Balmain is a guarantee for convenience; the patented Soft Blend Edge results in a perfect mix with the clients own hair and can hardly be felt. The client can choose between two systems: a permanent attachment with bonds by the hairdresser, or the clip-in system. When fixed with bonds, the DoubleHair Strip can be worn 6 to 8 weeks. As the Strip can be reused 2 to 3 times, the client derives pleasure from it for about half a year. Besides, Balmain gives a 6 months warranty on the strip, if combined with the accessory caring products.

The clip-in system enables the client at home to have a temporary hairstyle with a DoubleHair Strip at any wanted moment. This system with the so-called ‘positioning clips’ is a perfect way to introduce hair extensions to a client without fixing them permanently!
